October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Domestic violence does not discriminate.  Abuse is about power and control and it does not matter how old someone is, their gender, their culture or socioeconomic status, or any other factors.

October is domestic violence awareness month and each week we will provide some ifnormation on our Facebook page (@SafeHomesInc) about what intimate partner violence may look like for victims from other cultures and backgrounds.  Our hope is that some of the information we share could help even just one victim who may not otherwise come forward get the help they need because all of our programs and services are available to MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN who have been victimized by domestic violence.
