Thank you for your interest in joining our team as an intern. Interning with our agency offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful and rewarding change in your community. SafeHomes accepts intern applications all year long, provided there are still openings available.
SafeHomes is able to work with students in undergraduate and some graduate degree programs. We frequently host students who are working toward degrees in psychology, social work, criminal justice, human services and other related fields.

Public Relations Intern
We are currently accepting applications for Spring, Summer and Fall 2025. Please complete the application and send it, along with your resume, to Emilee@safehomesdv.org. Qualifications
- If you are a survivor, it is important that you have been out of the domestic violence relationship for at least two years.
- Must understand the importance of maintaining all codes of confidentiality.
- Must have an acceptable public record and reputation.
- Must have the desire and passion to give back to the community and help those who have been affected by domestic violence.
