Our counseling program offers individual counseling to both the survivors and their children. In addition, therapeutic groups are also available.

SafeHomes counselors facilitate a weekly support group focused on empowerment and creating a sense of community, while also providing important tools to promote healing and growth.

For our child clients, an eight-week therapeutic group, Magic in Me, strives to address any trauma and stress-related symptoms and teach basics of personal and body safety through interactive activities and play.

The 12-week No-Drama Discpline: Trauma-Focused Parenting Group gives our survivor parents tools that promote healthy, attuned relationship between the parent and child while addressing misbehaviors and conflict. The principles taught in this group can begin to heal the wounds in the relationships between parents and children that family violence leaves behind.
