Capital Campaign
In 2013, our shelter was a safe haven for 201 women and children. However, unfortunately, due to lack of space, we were forced to find alternative safe housing for 329 victims. After much strategic planning, campaign leaders, staff and close friends of SafeHomes committed to a $3 Million capital campaign to build a new facility.
The new, 14,500-square-foot facility opened in June 2016 and includes:
- Up to 36 Beds
- 2 Multi-Purpose Rooms, allowing space for programs to strengthen mind, body and soul
- Child Playroom
- Teen Room
- Meditation Room
- On-Site Staff Offices
- 24-Hour Security
