Community Education and Trainings

We cannot combat domestic violence alone and rely on partnerships with law enforcement, the legal system, medical personnel and other professionals to help us in our efforts.  We provide specialized trainings to ensure that these individuals understand the complexities and dynamics of abuse.

Violence in the Workplace: When violence occurs in the home, the effects can follow the victim to their place of employment, having an effect on productivity and even the safety of the victim and their co-workers. SafeHomes can help your company reduce the risks related to domestic violence through trainings on implementation of relevant policies and procedures and the warning signs of abuse.

Community Education: Because domestic violence will only end when society takes a stand together, we work hard to educate the community about the warning signs of domestic abuse, how to help if a loved one is in danger, and the effects on the community when domestic violence occurs. We are available to attend community fairs and expos as well as provide educational presentations to religious or civic organizations.
