E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor Championship

Jones Creek Golf Club
The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. In addition to helping these young golfers realize their dreams, the operation of this tournament raises funds for a local organization each year, and SafeHomes has been chosen as the recipient for the sixth consecutive year. These funds help directly impact SafeHomes' mission to transform the lives of domestic violence victims throughout our community.
MARSHAL HOLE LEADER: We are seeking 18 individuals to serve as hole captains for the 2018 tournament. The Hole Captain will be responsible for securing volunteers to marshal that hole throughout the week and will also be responsible for distributing necessary information from SafeHomes to "their" hole volunteers for the week with regards to shift times, reminders and announcements.
Can't be a Hole Leader, but still want to help? We need MARSHAL VOLUNTEERS as well!
We are seeking volunteers to "marshal" a hole on the course each day of the tournament, as well as the day of the Qualifier. A marshal is assigned to a designated location at one of the holes on the course (usually where balls are noted to hit most often during play) to locate players' tee shots. This volunteer's main duty is to locate the ball's general location after it is hit from the tee (and other shots, depending on the number of marshals available).

Interested in Volunteering?
Volunteering with SafeHomes for this event is *free*, and includes food and drinks (sodas/water) during your shift, and an invitation to the volunteer party featuring a concert. Volunteers will be given a "caddy bib" to be used during their shift. However, volunteers have the option to pay $35 for a golf shirt, hat and lapel pin if they so choose.
If you are interested in volunteering, or if you know of a group/organization that may be interested in staffing a hole for the week, or even just one day, please contact Rachel@safehomesdv.org of call 706-736-2499.
